We are researchers at the University of Florida seeking pairs of coworkers who interact with one another at work on a daily basis and (1) have worked together under the same supervisor for at least 6 months; (2) interact with this same supervisor at work on a daily basis; and (3) work full-time to complete a study on the effects of social interactions and relationships at work. The study will take place over a 3 week period. Participants will be asked to complete a single online survey approximately 30 minutes in length during the first week of the study. During the second two weeks of the study, participants will be asked to complete a survey each workday (Mon-Fri). These surveys should take approximately 20 minutes each day to complete. The surveys will contain questions regarding participants’ own feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, as well as those of their immediate supervisors and coworkers. Individuals who fully complete the study will receive a $75 Amazon.com Gift Card emailed by researchers at the University of Florida within 6-12 weeks after finishing the study. Interested individuals should respond to this ad by sending an email to the reply address above in order to receive a link to a brief registration survey, sent by a University of Florida researcher within 3 business days. This registration survey is designed to provide full study details, to ensure that all inclusion criteria are met, and to verify that the registrant and his/her coworker work for the same employer and supervisor. Due to study restrictions, only one pair of coworkers per supervisor, and only one coworker per household can be considered for participation. Participation is limited to the first 75 eligible pairs of coworkers to register.
