I hired "Union of DC Movers" to do my Mother's move in January,2010.
They gave us an hourly rate and told us IN ADVANCE what size vehicle we were going to get for that price. They came at 8am as we scheduled, and brought all the equipment they had promised.
My mother's belongings (some of them valuable antiques) were very carefully wrapped and moved.
We did not have to lift a finger! They took care of everything, they even disconnected our appliances and connected them back.
The move was done in a timely manner and they were very professional.
I will be moving myself in March, and have already reserved my move with "Union of DC Movers".
