Brief Description:
This is a part-time position working with the intercollegiate NCAA III men's soccer program.
Job Duties:
The qualified candidate will report to the Men's soccer coach and will assist with the implementation and supervision of many aspects of the men's soccer program. The Assistant Coach is charged with recruiting and training quality collegiate student-athletes, player development, planning and implementation of practices, team travel and equipment, game preparation, assisting with camps and creating winning chemistry on the team. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all aspects of a Division III men’s program. Primary responsibilities will be: on field coaching and recruiting quality student athletes as per NCAA Rules.
Time Commitment:
Majority of the practices are scheduled at 4pm so your work day will start at 3pm. Games are scheduled on Wednesday and Saturday.
Qualifications:
The applicant should possess prior experience in a collegiate and/or high school soccer program as a goalkeeper or soccer coach.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. A valid Driver’s License IS A MUST.
