We are in the process of building a first-class team of health professionals responsible for the regulatory oversight of healthcare facilities and agencies in Colorado.
Healthcare surveyors serve as advocates for and the protection of vulnerable populations both in healthcare facilities and in their homes. As a surveyor, every decision made, makes a difference in someone’s life.
Our mission is to protect the safety and welfare of the healthcare consumer through review of healthcare facilities’ policies, procedures and practices, observations, and interviews to determine if the facility/agency is meeting the consumer's needs in accordance with stated regulations and professional healthcare standards.
Surveyors utilize their critical thinking skills and clinical knowledge base to survey health facilities for compliance on a routine basis; investigate complaints from patients, families, and other interested parties, generate reports, review and evaluate corrective action plans, and perform other critical duties.
This is generally an autonomous position but you’re not left to fend for yourself. We have a great support system!
