Description
General Description: This position is in support of the startup and transition phase of the IDE/GTN Convergence (IGC) program. The engineer who fills this position must be able to apply extensive engineering expertise, knowledge and principals; solve complex problems; and perform work without appreciable direction. This individual may function in project leadership roles and represent the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters.
Skill Description:
• Requirements/mission analysis taking stakeholder requirements and decomposing them to lower level requirements;
• Allocation of decomposed requirements to architecture subsystems and components as well as to deployed hardware and software;
• The development and maintenance of multi-view architecture products following industry standard methodologies such as the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF);
• The development of System Requirements Specifications (SRS), Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM), and other reports utilizing the Rational ReqPro tool suite; and
• May develop and maintain CONOPS, use cases, day in the life scenarios, etc to identify architecture threads reflecting the continuing evolution of the architecture
Experience:
Eight (8) years engineering/requirements with four (4) years in the required tool sets.
Education:
Master’s, Bachelor’s or related degrees are to be in a mathematics, computer science, business or related field.
Security
IT 2 and adjudicated National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) . Must be U.S. citizen and possess or capable of obtaining a NACLC. Secret Clearance will be required later.
