New Musical: "In the Final Hour"
Sissy: Seeking African American Female Actress/Singer 25-30. Must have strong Gospel Belt Singing Voice. 27 year old drug addict. Would be a very attractive girl however drugs have taken a toll on her body. Victim of childhood sexual and physical abuse and still carries the pain of her past.
Eve: Seeking African American Female Actress 30-35. Sissy’s older sister Eve is a single, independent black woman strong in her position in life. A successful lawyer and entrepreneur. She wants for very little; however the one thing she does want is to see her sister clean (off drugs). Eve blames her mother for her sister’s certain condition because Eve was one of the only people to see Sissy’s abuse first hand.
Hazel: African American Female Actress 50-55. Backbone of the community and pastor of a local church. Intelligent yet self-righteous Strong but in denial about the real reason her daughter turned to drugs.
Daddy: African American Male Actor 50-60. Must be 5’11 or taller Deep speaking voice preferred. The Abuser. Only a husband and father in title not action. Very intimidating and scary
Little Eve: African American Female Actress 8-11. Younger Eve is the stronger of the two sisters, but is defenseless in being able to protect her baby sister.
Little Sissy: African American Female Actress 7-10. The Victim looked over and abused
Church Clerk: African American Female Actress/Singer 50-70 years old. Must have great comedic timing and good singing voice. The Church Clerk is a hilarious old woman. As one of the mothers of the church she likes to have her foot in everything making sure that the church is ran correctly because contrary to what everyone else thinks she knows best.
Angel: African American Male Actor/ Singer 18-30 years old. Strong Voice with a Gospel Belt.
Choir Members: Strong Gospel Singers All genders/race/ages welcomed
