My name is Andrea Ferreira and I am looking for a full time nanny position:
What do I offer:
- Over nine years of experience working with children, safety conscious, reliable, driver's license.
- Enjoy spending time with children exploring nature, reading, cooking, observing their behavior and development, teaching and explaining things patiently as many times as necessary, love making art using recyclable materials.
- Portuguese/ English/Spanish fluent
About me:
- I am a nurturing person who loves cooking whole/traditional foods, playing outside, hiking, holistic approach to health, I am supportive towards parents and their challenges, I enjoy listening, dancing, meditating, and hugging trees (I am not a hippie though, well maybe a little : ) )
- I am a doula trained, acupressure therapist certified and chinese medicine student
Rates, Policies and more:
Care for 1 child $15 p/h
Care for 2 children $22 p/h
Care for 3 children $27 p/h
I have a 48 hours cancelation policy, this includes your child getting sick, but if you can find someone to take your hours you are free of charge. In case your are sharing and have to cancel it, you are responsible for contacting the other parents and making any further arrangements.
I would like to be paid by cash, and ask for minimum of four hours of work per day.
I prefer not be responsible to drive your child, but would do so if extremely necessary.
On the first day, please allow some time to show me where things are, how appliances work (if necessary) and to tell me about your child's habits and schedule. I have many years of experience, but every child and parent is unique on their particularities.
