This role will involve motivating and training outside sales team responsible for in-person visits to small and medium size businesses in the five NY Boroughs to discuss their current energy needs, present alternative solutions and enroll customers in the best plan suited toward their energy needs. The POWER YOUR WAY PROGRAM is a partnership with the State of NY and CONED.
*****This full time Position will be based out of New York Metro
GENERAL SUMMARY: Delivers new hire and advanced training to field sales channel to enable them to achieve assigned sales goals, generate new business, and manage sales funnels.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Deliver new-hire training sessions on a weekly basis.
- Deliver ongoing sales management training for Field Sales Managers.
-Work collaboratively to develop most effective training materials for any new products, services, and promotions, pricing launches and/or new skills training.
-Implement assessments, role-plays, activities, job aids, etc., and ensure training materials and programs are effective, user friendly and up to date.
-Administer certification testing and validation.
-Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of key training initiatives.
-Provide results and feedback to upper management
-Modify curriculum based on client's needs. –
-Effectively manage pre- and post-class activities that promote optimal learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Training Certifications and or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years facilitation experience and at least 4 years experience in Training.
- Requires excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment
