Description
We have nearly a full set completed, but our second guitarist has had to bow out due to a medical complication, so we have an opening to be filled. We are dedicated, serious musicians wanting to get the record deal, go on tours, and live off of the music we labor so hard to create.
Our influences include but are not limited to: Story of the Year, Funeral for a Friend, Atreyu, Thursday, Saosin, A Static Lullaby, Underoath, Destroy the Runner, From Autumn to Ashes, The Used, In Flames, He is Legend, BlessTheFall, As I Lay Dying, Escape the Fate, Emarosa, Burden of a Day, and many more along those lines. We LOVE the heavy stuff, but it's all about the catchy melody!
You must have:
* Stage-/Studio-worthy equipment all around. No Fischer-Price/Crate “My First Half-Stack” stuff. We play in Drop-C tuning (C-G-C-F-A-D)
* Some actual guitar skills. You don't need to be a shred god by any stretch, but can you AT LEAST play rhythm to a click?
* Some rudimentary music theory knowledge is a huge plus but not a requirement.
* A great stage presence...do you look the part of the music we're trying to create and can you hold an audience's attention?
* Please be between the ages of 20-27.
