Description
We moved to the country from the city (Toronto)3 years ago. After having some time settling in and after cringing at our economy I thought, why not offer a unique opportunity to parents seeking to send their child away for a week this summer. Situated on a quaint Horse Hobby Farm (2 horses) 1hr15min NNW of TO airport. We are a family of 4 (girl 13 and boy 9)in a position to include a child in a country experience with their own assigned horse for a week. Our daily activities include: hikes thru surrounding forests, swimming(lessons avail), introduction to and care of horses, horseback riding (lessons available), dirtbiking if permitted (lessons avail)arts/crafts, nightly campfires, movie night(rain). At least 1 trip to one of Ontario's finest beaches (Wasaga Beach), visiting local farms to see how cattle, sheep crops are raised If you want your child to have this wholesome adventure and want to save money on "camp" this might work for you and your budget. We are horse and dirtbike enthusiasts. We will tailor a program to meet your child's needs.
