1965 Pontiac GTOMontero red outside, black buckets inside. Straight body, numbers correct, PHS documented, Tri-power, 4-spd, new 389/360hp with correct carbs, hardened valves, PS, PB, tilt wheel, A/C (not now working), exhaust splitters, console, working AM radio, outside mirror, mats, correct rear end. Original Rally II wheels and new tires, T-3 lights, factory original wood steering wheel. Chrome and paint are very nice and head turners. This is an early 2000 complete frame-off rebuild after trailer accident (returning from being contestant at GTOAA Nats) which caused cosmetic damage only. Perfect to drive and enjoy as is and for cruising or local car shows (has won many trophies) Never raced but is very strong. Also comes with many parts still in boxes (i.e. new dash gauges, new brake booster, all parts for A/C, new carpet) to bring it to even further restoration. Included is collection of 1965 sales brochures, glove box books, tech books, and 1965 materials including World's fair materials.
