Todd Carter’s latest effort, Cabinet of Curiosities, is a breath of fresh air composed of honest emotion, imagination, musical collaboration and first takes. Most tracks were written by Carter, but several were co-written with artists Tim Curtis-Verderosa, Andy Snyder, Adam Fuller, and Tony Graci. Each of them added his own harmonies, instrumental parts, and unique vibe to the album. And, with Cabinet of Curiosities, Carter once again surprises the listener: "This is definitely the first disc I have recorded that includes country tracks," states Carter. The lyrical clarity, melodies, and arrangement of these songs with pedal steel and piano clearly pay homage to traditional country music, something rarely heard in today's pop-country hits. The Looking’s live performance will no doubt also offer compelling elements of spontaneity and musical diversity.
Trip hop band Puracane has played with bands such as Sting, Duran Duran, Jane’s Addiction and Depeche Mode. Their music has also been featured on screen and television. They have been compared to artists such as Portishead, Sneaker Pimps, Björk and Radiohead. Performing to support their new release, I've Been Here the Longest, Puracane returns to the NY stage with new band members Emilio Teubal on keyboards, Frank Amelang on drums, Juan Braana on bass guitar and Puracane founders Ali Rogers on vocals and Juan Masotta on guitar.

Puracane tracks are known for Ali’s soothing yet effectively engaging voice complimented by flowing electronic beats and sounds together conglomerated with string and percussion instruments. The songs are often mellow yet electronically complicated and hypnotizing with their loops and beats. The group’s live shows create a wall of sound that is captivating and enthralling.

The new releases from both The Looking and Puracane will be available for purchase at the performance for $12 each. The Looking will perform a one hour set beginning at 10 p.m. followed by an hour set from Puracane at 11 p.m.
