Description
The Summer Shade Festival at Grant Park is seeking volunteers to assist with various functions before, during and after this two day event.. Festival dates are August 29-30.
The Summer Shade Festival is produced by the Summer Shade Festival Organizing Committee for the benefit of the Grant Park Conservancy and its work to restore, renovate, preserve and maintain Atlanta's oldest public park.
Volunteers are needed for: Logistics, Public Relations, Volunteer Management, Hospitality, Entertainment, Beverage Tents (Volunteers must be minimum 21 years of age to serve alcohol), Sanitation, and other responsibilities. One shift of four hours (minimum) is required. Volunteer shifts are available on Friday (Aug 28) for load-in, Saturday (Aug 29), Sunday (Aug 30) and Monday (Sept 1) for load-out.
Volunteer benefits include: discounted tickets to Corks and Forks (food and wine tasting event), a Summer Shade Festival t shirt, and having a fun experience! Volunteers must work a minimum of 1 four hour shift but may work multiple shifts if desired.
