Mary Tyler Moore sitcom is more widely known as The Mary Tyler Moore Show. In an A&E documentary, she stated to drop the word “show” of the title.
The story focuses on Mary Richards who moves to Minneapolis after a failed relationship. She accepted a work as an associate producer in a small television newsroom. Lou Grant is her boss; Murray Slaughter is the humorous writer and Ted Baxter as the anchor man. She continued to seek for the right person but at the end, she realize that having her friends are better.
