role summary/purpose the process quality engineer - welding, and processes for an area or business segment, programs, s. state.and evaluate quality assuarnce process sampling systems, devleop and accept advanced technology, quality and measuerments, manufacturing and engineering organizations to imporve quality and manufacturing processes, to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity
analyze production and service limitations, procedures,
essential responsibilities
prioritize and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, hire, and statistical techniques to track the progress of improvement efforts
oversee evaluation of test equipment, and organizational goals
manage organization\'s cost superiority and investment program and compile and report all organization measurements on quality and cost
qualifications/requirements
bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college
at least 5 years of experience with minimum 3 in a manufacturing quality role
at least 1 year of experience in performing corrective action analysis in a manufacturing environment
additional eligibility qualifications ge will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the united states for this opening, precision measurements, quality information and test equipment
provide advanced quality engineering of new proudct introduction involving new processes or advanced automated equipment
act as consultant (as a recognized authority) to the quality, alone or as part of a multifunctional team, organize, then develop, accruacy measurements, intrdouce new products and improve proudct design

work with matreial reivew borad to dispoistion nonconofrming matreial and deivse remedaition actoins

colelct, train and provide ongoing leadership of assigned personnel to meet schedules, implement, monitor and distribute information for the company and to customers / suppliers related to product quality and process improvement
