this position is for abbott medical optics in añasco.iso 14001 internal auditor, dot/iata.
certified in cpr/aed standard first aid. devleops inveronmental compliance master plan and coordinates its implementation. resposnible for security personnel and applicable conrtact management.law 139, prosha, eqb, department of helath,
hands on expeirence working with one or more of the following regulatory agencies documentation and regulations: osha, epa, aaa, department of labor statistics division, iso.
certification 40 hours hazardous waste operations and emergency response, rcra hazardous waste regulations, osha 30 hours general industry.
master degree is desirable.prepares contingency plans to handle any release of hazardous materials and notifies the proper authorities in the event of an emergency situation.regulations and corporate requirements and its impact on the business, seeks, evaluates and informs management personnel of any applicable environmental laws.
some of the major responsbiilities are:
1. informs management personnel of any applicable saefty or health law and regulation and its impact on the business.leads the environmental waste minimization process to assure compliance with golas.
2. responsible for the occuaption saefty and health aspcets for all site emplyoees and contract personnel.
sklils/experience requirements minmium of six (6) yeras of techincal traniing in ehs is required.
addiitonal responsibilities are inculded in the job descrpition.
3. develops safety and health compliance plans to comply with osha,, prasa & develompment of health requirements. pr, biology, microbiology, pharmacy, chemistry, environmental sciences or medical technology
certification requirements license issued as a health professional by the department of health is desirable

responsible for supervising and overseeing the development.represents amo during al ehs/ohs regulatory agency audits. propose and provide leadership to achieve ehs goals and objectives.
