the position requires occasional travel to power plants and work in a power plant environment.the following (may perform other functions that may be assigned):
issue project specific performance test procedures
arrange for and setup of process measurement instrumentation and data acquisition system in the filed
gas turbine process measurements using permanent and temporary instrumentation
data reduction and analysis, but are not limited to,
the essential functions of the job include, preparation of field service reports
evaluation of data collected by others
issue of official customer reports
update and maintain current monitoring systems via remote connection to the power plants
update and maintain the documentation
organize the procurement and installation of new systems
develop program and system enhancements including networking, internet data transfer etc
develop and maintain in-house distribution of data and calculation results via intranet.
strong thermodynamic background and knowledge of gas turbine process.
