Overview:
The employee in this position develops and delivers training for Material Safety Data Sheet authoring software (MSDgen product line applications,) both via webex and at the client site. The position is responsible for the development/update of training manuals used in these training efforts. This individual must be dependable, organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must be detail oriented and be able to work independently. Ability and willingness to travel is essential.
Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilitiesmayinclude, but are not limited to, the following:
* Develop and present classroom and individual training for the software product.
* Analyze, diagnose and report malfunctions and problems related to the software.
* Provide follow-up support and further training assessment to clients.
* In preparation for training sessions, review and test new/updated client applications. Report incorrect functionality.
* Develop/update all training manuals for the product line technical applications software.
* Incorporate into the product line training manuals instruction on new functionality to correspond with the \"Features & Fixes\" document published at version release.
* Understand and adapt to regulatory changes impacting the functionality of the applications software.
* Travel will be required for this position.
Qualifications:
* Above average understanding of technology and good user-level computer skills.
* Good organizational and time management skills.
* Attention to detail and quality.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Able to work with senior management as well as other industry contacts.
* Superior customer service skills.
* Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task to meet standard response times and deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor\'s Degree in Environmental Service or related field.
* Regulatory expertise desired.
* 3+ years of software training experience
* Some chemical background desired.
* Or, any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
