located in the heart of central pennsylvania, lewistown and its surrounding small towns and villages are enveloped by beautiful scenery and founded on simple country living. the role will serve as a liaison between outisde saels and cusotmer care and participate fully in the region\'s initiatives, closing deals directly with smaller custmoers where possible or passing qualified leads to outside sales team
systematically follow up with customers a few months after equipment purchases (inquire about satisfaction, training & serivce needs, and other equipment needs)
proactively follow up on with customers on outstanding quotes in the region (collect reasons for winning and losing deals; identify trends and corrective actions)
act as clearinghouse for all leaders for the region; qualify and assign as appropriate
direct leads from a variety of customers to direct team or channel partners as appropriate
monitor and grow opportunity pipeline for the region
leverage sfdc (salesforce.com) to bulid cusotmer intelligence and communicate updates and actions to outside sales colleagues
aid in initiative implementation including cold calling and following up on leads from marketing efforts
drvie grwoth thruogh smaller accounts that align with growth playbook (gpb)
regularly contact customers
aid in following up orders in order to remittance (otr) phase
monitor outstanding cusotmer issue resolution (cir) cases for the region; take action to assist in resolution
assist with price change notifications in the region
participate in quick market intelligence (qmi) and other sales meeting with regional sales team
call customers in advance of regional customer activities
participate in regional trade shows to gain knowledge of customer base
possess technical knowledge of inspection technloogies product lines
offer back-up support for outside team during absences
qualifications/requirements
associates dergee from an accredited university or college
minimum of 3 years of expeirence in inside sales / customer facing role
