Position Summary:
ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world\'s largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $2 billion, is seeking a Brand Manager within US Marketing. This means we need a talented Brand Manager like you to join this great organization and be a part of our team! As Brand Manager, you will play a key role as the owner and driver of the integrated marketing communications strategy for the Swingline and GBC brand across multiple channels (online, retail & catalog). This position will have ownership of consumer messaging & positioning and the consumer experience for our Swingline and GBC brands. This individual will also establish brand strategies & guidelines, raise consumer awareness, and implement brand consistency. Specifically, this role will be responsible for brand positioning, messaging, and consumer development programs. This role will also create consumer and trade marketing programs and sales materials to ensure growth in sales and market share. This role reports into the Director of Marketing.

Key Position Responsibilities:

Develop brand strategies and guidelines, steward the brands, and drive the connection of the individual brands into the entire ACCO Brands portfolio.
*
Develop and implement an integrated marketing communication strategy across multiple channels (online, retail & catalog).
*
You will work across the matrix with product and channel marketing to develop a strategic marketing strategy, messaging, creative design, and consumer development programs for the brand (promotions, campaigns, and sales collateral material).\'
*
Enhance the consumer relationship and increase brand awareness through advertising, web, and public relations strategies. Update and populate branded web sites and online tools, including linkage with key customer sites.
*
Ensure consistency of brand consumer messaging & communication throughout all customer and consumer touch points.
*
Develop strong understanding of consumer needs and wants through market research.
*
Act as a key driver of consumer and customer go to market launch plans for products through partnership with Product and Channel Managers as well as the Sales organization.
*
Develop guidelines and tools for existing products.
*
Ownership of packaging and merchandizing design and development programs.
*
Support ongoing and ad hoc needs for key customer reviews.
*
Primary partner to collaborate with Product and Channel teams and Marketing Services to develop & implement integrated marketing communication strategies and programs on time and within budget.
Position Qualifications:
*
Bachelors degree required, preferably in marketing or related field, MBA preferred.
* Minimum 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with 2+ years in brand marketing within consumer durables required.
* Proven experience in strategic brand development and positioning required
* Multichannel experience for online, retail and catalog required
* Solid experience in creative design and communication strategy required
* Brand strategy and program development for web marketing, public relations, and print sales tools required.
* Solid strategic brand positioning, creative perspective, and project management skills required.
* Must be comfortable using judgment to make decisions and resolve challenges with all or partial information.
* Ability to balance strategic and tactical work, while communicating customer and consumer needs though tools and messaging required.
* Effective and creative writing skills with the ability to conduct verbal and written communications required.
* Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams within a matrixed organization.
* Team oriented personality that can also work autonomously to achieve desired results.
