Position Summary:
ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world\'s largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $2 billion, is seeking a Print Production & Design Analyst to provide direct support to the Design and Production Manager to keep projects on time and accurate. This role will oversee production including print and mock-ups. This role will be responsible for managing the warehousing of collateral and maintaining warehousing database. This role will also perform production design work and image pulls/uploads. We’re looking for an individual with strong print production, design, process, and project management skills for our Marketing team!

Key Responsibilities:

Set up new graphic design and production projects, prepare folders, maintain database and close files. Develop database scripts as needed.

Manage print production. Understand all production needs including specifications, quantity and timing. Procure multiple vendor estimates; recommend selection based on cost and ability to deliver within production needs. Manage project with outside vendors and provide requirements to Graphics Designs for them to properly pre-flight. Ensure on time delivery.

Create mock-ups.
*
Perform graphics work from a production level including executing template based art work, image processing and edits.
*
Pull images daily based on requests. Keep the image database (DIL) up to date with key words and images.
*
Oversee literature inventory/fulfillment house relationship in order to minimize literature/sales tool backorders and facilitate literature/sales tool ordering.
*
Review projects/proof read as needed to ensure that customer requests were properly implemented.
*
Send out copy for translation and work directly with the vendor.
*
Maintain service levels.
*
Serve as a back-up for catalog review area.
Position Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree or equivalent experience with print production, graphics design and project management experience.
* Must understand graphics and production processes.
* Must work on a MAC.
* Proficient in FileMaker Pro 9 or 10, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, and PhotoShop and Microsoft Office suite, Quark XPress.
* Possess strong skills in project and time management, attention to detail, interpersonal, communication and creative.
* Drive for results and work cross functionally internally and with vendors.
* Be a real team player and know how to meet internal customer needs.
* Basic skills including ability to create worksheets/templates in Excel and other graphic design scheduling tools.
* Ability to understand and compare production quotes.
* Must be able to apply sound logic and make recommendations to resolve challenges/questions.
* Must be able to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks under time pressure.
