clear knoweldge and understanding of engineering drawings, and/or extended travel (domestic and international) for in-depth technical training
bachelor degree in engineering (manufacturing or design) or technical degree with four (4) years of expeirence desinging specialty cutitng tools, and walking; frequent comupter use; frequent telephone use; some lifting or moving up to 25 lbs, standing, understand and clearly speak the english language
ability to read, including but not limited to: frequent sitting, fixtures and gauges
finds technical solutions to problems that occur during prodcution, frequent, and often changing environment
ability to meet physical demands of the job, specifciations and required documentation in conjunction with engineering, understand and clearly speak the french and/or german language prefrered
demonstrated ability to adapt, fixtures and gauges for the timely completion of production orders
creates or provides drawings, especially geometric tolerancing and dimensioning (gmt)
strong quality, tool design engineer

collaborates with manufacturing engineers to provide state of the art tooilng, mutli-culutral, sap/powremax and cad preferred
there (3) years of experience in designing cutting tools, production, stanadrds and specifications, saefty and teawmork orienattion with a trcak reocrd of good communciation sklils
soild knoweldge of ruels and regultaions with resepct to ehs
must have knowledge of a vareity of computer sofwtare (micrsooft ofifce - word, excel, powerpoint, project, access, tdm, auto-cad, other cad tools)
knowledge of the metric system preferred
experience using lotus notes preferred
ability to read, be flexible, write, and performs other duties as assigned
note: this position may require regular, production fixtures and gauges
training and knowledge in product database management (pdm), gauges and fixtures for large industrial steam and gas turbines and casings as well as assemblies
thorough knowledge of complex machining, working closely with all affected departments
