the alstom power gas business north america region is seeking a lead electrical and i&c engineer experienced in the field of power generation.
support supplier qualification/ selection proecss thruogh technical inquiries and inspections and subsequently review supplier documentation to ensure conformance with contracted delivreables and technical acceptability.some travel is required.technical standards, and proejct performance requirements,
primary responsibilities:
provide input and guidance during bid preparation including accurate scope definition and design specifications aligned with customer requirements.
skilled at conveying technical positions to customers, suppliers and partners.gas, nuclear, and it offers a wide range of solutions for power transmission, provides turnkey integrated power plnat solutions and associated services for a wide variety of energy sources, alstom builds the fastest train and the highest capacity automated metro in the world, with a focus on smart grids, coal and wind, including hydro.
minimum of 8 to 10 years of indsutry expeirence in power generation field (combined cycle power plant experience prefrered) or process plant industry.
storng communciation and collabroative intefrace sklils in a team envirnoment.
tihs lead role will have responisbility for assgined scope from the bid stgae through project exectuion with accounatbility for technical deliverables in accodrance with quailty, cost and schdeule requirements. provide leadership and guidance with internal and external partners throughout all phases of engineering.
prepare required technical documents including bill of materials, data sheets and requisitions for various components and equipment.
skilled in relevant design calculations and methods and in use of engineering programs
well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical matters.
support costing and budget preparation for scope of equipment.cost parameters and schedule requirements,
ensure that all assigned scope deliverables are executed in accordance with technical specifications, applicable standards/codes.
bs in electrical engineering.
