The Professional Services Consultant work independently or as part of a team to define, test and deliver technical and functional payroll application solutions to customer requirements. Consultants must have a customer service mentality and be comfortable working closely with users at all levels. This is a road warrior position with Accero.
Duties: ? Participate in a collaborative team environment with significant exposure to Sales, Product Development and management
? Certify the credentials of implementation partners and subcontractors
? Assist the sales team with preparation of proposals, cost estimates and project plans
? Produce tools, reference materials or training for others within the organization
? Work closely with project managers to develop project plans and cost estimates
? Develop and review requirements, design specifications, QA test plans and provide customer test recommendations
? Initiate continual improvement of methodologies, standards and tools for better efficiency and quality
? Provide regular performance feedback to employee?s manager
? Analyze customer IT architecture, system design and training needs and participate in or lead technical discussions with IT and business contacts
? Live on the leading edge of company products and services; must have an ?early adopter? mentality
? Collaborate on development of core product and process training for existing and new associates
? Create standards and assist internal and/or external subject matter experts in development of training curricula
? Deliver technical instruction to consultants and other groups within the organization
? Work with managers and associates to develop individualized training or development programs to improve performance and career potential
? Work with functional managers to identify unmet training needs and develop appropriate strategies for resolution
? Make recommendations, give direction to others and perform work fairly independently or with minimal supervision
? Serve as internal expert - assisting other consultants and groups for training, implementation and troubleshooting
? All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
? Understanding of the Accero?s products and application areas preferred but not required.
? 2+ years of experience with payroll or human resource operations for one or more large-sized or complex organizations or in implementation of a payroll / human resources service provider
? CPP, FPC or other industry certification preferred
