The systems engineering requirements for Aegis CSEA include system design, development, integration and test, incorporation of capability upgrades, installation support, certification test support, Developmental Test/Operational Test (DT/OT) test support, and delivery to land based test sites and ships. Boeing is seeking candidates to help apply our world-class systems engineering skills and maritime mission system experience to enhance the performance and functionality of the AEGIS weapon system by competing for the AEGIS CSEA contract.As a Software Engineering member of the Boeing Aegis CSEA team the selected candidate will lead the development solutions to unprecedented and complex architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. This includes the definition and documentation of software requirements and code associated with the AEGIS Combat System. Typical responsibilities include: analyzing software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints and consulting with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Candidate must have experience in developing software components to run in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) compatible with the Navy\'s objective open architecture standards.
