Position Summary:
The Abramson Center for Jewish Life currently has openings for Certified Nursing Assistants for:
Part-Time, all shifts
&
Weekend-only (every other weekend), 3pm-11:30pm
The licensed certified nursing assistant provides direct care of daily living activities to our residents. The CNA will provide to our residents personal care as needed such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene related services. The CNA will participate in unit activities, promote independence, encourage socialization, and advocate for the quality of life of our residents.
The CNA will primarily be assigned to and manage the daily activities of a cluster of nine (9) residents. The CNA will report directly to the household RN/LPN Care Coordinator. The CNA will participate in inter-disciplinary resident care planning to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. The CNA is empowered to promote the well-being of our residents through active participation within the care team, demonstrated initiative, and independent judgment.

Requirements
Minimum Experience:1+ yearsof certified nursing assistant experience in along-term caresetting.
Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification: Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant licensure.
