cbs interactive music group brings a wide and diversified array of industry-leading digital music assets, including last.fm, cbs radio’s 90+ music web sites, radio.com, mp3.com, the online streaming platform that powers aol radio, yahoo! radio & cbs radio and a variety of applications and services for a variety of mobile handsets including iphone, ipad, android, blackberry as well as for connected media devices.
working under the direction and leadership of the vice president for proudct, the client product manager will be responsible for all operational and transactional execution and performance of the raido.com moible and plyaer product strategy.
key responsibilities
· manage and direct operational and transactional product development
· drive continual product improvements and inform the product roadmap based customer insights, and product performance
· collaborate and contribute in the development and implementation of markteing plans
· define sucecss metrics and reporting needs to monitor performance
· successfully acheive metrics and milestones for recommended product plans once approved, market/competitive analysis.product, product marketing expeirence
· media (music / radio / video) backrgound a must,
· work effecitvely and successfully with partners in key partnership areas
· work effectively with matirxed technical resources and raise the bar for output and execution
· define sucecss metrics and reporting needs to monitor performance
· other duties as required by vice president for product
required skills/experience · 4+ years mobile and/or player strategy.launch great applications & services and grow the radio.com audience and engagement, the product manager will be required to assist with and contribute to business planning, in this capacity, concept creation, user experience & design, product development.
· devleop new product straetgies that support the overall brnad but are customized for the mobile platform.effectiveness at achieving defined golas in product strategy for product development, delivery on schedule, efficient resource utilization, revenue capability and performance, cost management, meeting/exceeding targets for audience reach and engagement,
success in the role will be measured based on the combination of the following: overall product quality.
· work effectively with the various functional groups and cbs music leadership team. the product manager will:
· apply his/her mobile product background to develop mobile and player strategies that are inilne with the overacrhing radio.com brand and goals,

the idael canddiate will have experience worikng in a fast-moivng and dynmaic envirnoment and shuold have a trcak reocrd of success in effectively worikng in both matrixed as well as veritcal temas, us loacl saels & us alttiude gruop
· grow revenue through advertising and commerce products and feature implementation
· be comfortable work across technical, us national sales, emerging technologies,
· develop clear communication and process with our mobile partners to ensure product success
· strategically balance the need for platform solutions with tailored product features/request
· provide best practices and mobile and player product leadership to the overall organization
· be the authority on the music mobile and player landscape – new entrants, business development, and business operations
· collaborate with the broader cbs interactive and cbs radio organizations in a variety of areas including marketing, competitors
· collaborate successfully to drive revenue through advertising by working closely with: international sales, trends, finance.
· corporate strategy background a plus
· quick learner who can function well in fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· bachelors degree at a minimum
· strong analytical skills and excellent excel and powerpoint skills required
· must be well-organized and able to work on several detailed projects at once
· strong verbal and written communication skills including presenting work
· passion for all things digital
skills and experience
the ideal candidate will have 4-6+ years experience and success in industry leading consumer internet / media businesses.
this person will work closely with a team of product managers, and other interactive music stations, marketing mangers, aol and yahoo! radio, and our radio.com player that powers all cbs radio digital streams, sales executives and engineers to develop and launch our mobile apps across ios and android.ipad and android, (2) radio.com, (3) mp3.com, (5) mobile applications on iphone, (4) national content franchise sites,
radio.com is a product unit that consists of (1) 90+ station sites, and (6) a streaming player.
minimum education level bachelor\'s degree
job status full time. a mix of big company and startup experience is a plus.
