this position conudcts registration and obtians financial reimbursement for all patients accessing service at medical faciilties. provides information and instrcutions to patients regadring hosiptal procdeures and services. obtains all necessary signtaures and documetnation required by the patient’s insurance plan.
2.may calculate patient liability according to verification of insurance benefits, collects deposits and co-payments.explains and obtains signatures on hospital legal forms i.financial agreement, e. conditions of admission, hospital grievance policy, advance directive.
accurate and efficient keyboarding skills, and the ability to work effectively with common office software are required.provides reception and telecommunications operator services,
4. as assigned.accurately and completely documents all information into the patient records system to ensure maximum reimbursement.
