Position Description The Navy has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Aegis Combat System Engineering Agent (CSEA)
contract, an evolution of the current Aegis Combat System. The systems engineering requirements for Aegis
CSEA include system design, development, integration and test, incorporation of capability upgrades, installation
support, certification test support, Developmental Test/Operational Test (DT/OT) test support, and delivery to land
based test sites and ships. Boeing is seeking candidates to help apply our world-class systems engineering skills
and maritime mission system experience to enhance the performance and functionality of the AEGIS weapon
system by competing for the AEGIS CSEA contract.
As a Electrical Engineering member of the Boeing Aegis CSEA team the selected candidate will supports the definition and documentation of radar and software requirements and design associated with the AEGIS combat system. Candidate must have significant experience in defining radar behavior, performance and interface requirements and developing radar software components to run in a Service Oriented Architecture compatible with the Navy\'s objective open architecture standards.
Typical responsibilities include: Develops and validates requirements for unique communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components. Develops and validates electromagnetic requirements for electrical\\electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures. Leads development of trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around complex requirements. Develops new and improved modeling and simulation techniques. Leads development and execution of critical tests to validate performance of designs to requirements. Manages appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements. Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle by providing guidance and support to resolve complex issues.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have experience in the Rational Rhapsody development environment?
Do you have a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with complex combat weapon systems, such as the Aegis Weapon System?
Typical Education/Experience Level 5 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor\'s 14 or more years\' experience, Master\'s with 12 or more years\' experience or PhD with 9 or more years\' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Level 6 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor\'s and 20 or more years\' experience, Master\'s with 18 or more years\' experience or PhD with 15 or more years\' experience.
