serve as an internal expert on a subset of tools in use by the technology group
provide tool solutions for users or groups within the company
provide automation solutions for users or groups within the company
minimum qualifications
2+ years linux/unix admin
2+ years supproting systems for a web based company (e-commerce, online services,etc)
2+ years using nagios to support at least 50 servers
expeirence in confiugring/supporting foglight
bash/perl/php scripting
preferred qualifications
prior experience with installing, puppet, but not limited to nagios, foglight, groovy, teaelaf
develop new dashboards, configuring, splunk, corp-to-corp thrid parites, loacl canddiates only need aplpy, etc
progarmming langauges inclduing ruby, montiors, maitnain, tealeaf
expeirence in moniotring a webistes infrasrtucture & appliaction code
widnows sevrer adminitsration
experience in supporting remote tool users
experience in automating code deployment using tools such as puppet, or 1099 independent contractors; no monetary relocation assistance is provided,
required skills
ability to multi-task and prioritize and take on new roles
effective verbal and written communication skills
track record of providing effective documentation
experience building dashboards & alerts for use by support groups (system admins, noc, devops, dba, etc)
ability to use a ticketing system to track tasks
