integrate various company services available with customer\'s equipment
assure and record proper levels and signal quality within required specifications on active outlets; monitor and record system, relocates and other tasks as defined
troubleshoot and repair residential customer services from the tap to the connection of the cpe for single, drop, all necessary wiring both interior and exterior associated equipment in the forward and return signal path of the customer premise network (cpn)
perform all work as necessary to conform to quality and safety control guidelines (includes compliance with requirements outlined in applicable regulations such as osha, and fcc and following procedures as outlined in the customer premise network installation qualifications (cpniq), disconnects, national electrical safety code (nesc), service changes, and in house signal leakage
clean the premises of all debris and materials after the installation is complete
promote and sell company products and services and educate customer on proper use of services and equipment, other installation, but not limited to, safety manuals, national electric code (nec), multi-family and/or multi-dwellings including, total quality assurance (tqa), how to add additional services and access help online
maintain accurate records including time worked,
essential functions of the position
actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
perform basic installations, including channel lineups, gas sheets as required; properly record all required information on data devices and/or work orders, etc, technical operations, daily logs, surveys, reconnects.operate communications device in accordance with company policies
collect payments and secure appropriate customer signatures
operate company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner. g. signal level meters, ohm meters, etc.
