Position Summary:
TheHospice of the Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Lifeprovides specialized care to individuals who are approaching the end of life. Hospice emphasizes managing symptoms, such as pain, in order to provide comfort and foster the highest quality of life possible. At the
Abramson
Center for Jewish Life, hospice care includes spiritual and emotional support for residents and their families, as well as help in working through personal problems that may surface. Our hospice team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, certified nursing assistants, and dieticians, as well as trained volunteers.
This growing Hospice program currently has a need fora Full Time Hospice RN Case Managerto provide community-based hospice services within defined territories of the Greater Philadelphia area.
As a Hospice RN for the Hospice of the
Abramson
Center , you would be responsible for: assessing the health status of assigned residents; implementing and evaluating individualized nursing interventions; and coordinating care delivery.
Please note that this position does involve travel within the Greater Philadelphia area.
The
Abramson
Center is conveniently located in the suburbs, on a 72-acre campus, minutes from Route 309, 611 and the PA Turnpike.

Requirements
Minimum Experience: 1+ years of experience in hospice.
Minimum Education: Graduation from a Commonwealth-approved School of Nursing.
Licensure/Certification: Current Pennsylvania RN Licensure.
