Responsibilities:
This position will:
- Investigate the status of orders and advises Inside Sales Reps or customers when needed
- Investigate orders that have not been shipped and advises appropriate individuals as to current status when needed
- Investigate customer material claims, coordinates with S.P.G. Purchasing, and communicates findings to personnel initiating claim
- Investigate other customer claims and responds formally, via letter or corrective action report, and provides information for Inside Sales Manager to correct the denial letter
- Respond to various customer inquiries, either verbally or in writing
- Maintain service records, credit memo logs, and shipping manifest
- Issue pick-up of defective or unusable material and issues subsequent credit memos, debit memos, BPOs and return of goods to vendor
- Respond to customer\'s requests for corrected or incomplete paperwork
- Change order dates per customer requests and communicates these changes to appropriate personnel
- Update Castle Direct
- Perform other related work as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Some college coursework preferred
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Decision making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Customer service or inside sales experience within the industry preferred
