Job Summary:
As the Global IT Security Manager you will report to the Senior Director of IT Strategy, PMO and Security. Take a strong and proactive approach to managing IT security and overseeing a wide variety of IT security projects globally for Activision Blizzard. Manage the development and delivery of IT security standards, industry standard practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise.
You will work to increase the overall effectiveness of the IT security program. In this position, you will be responsible for rolling out a prioritized IT security program and maturing this function in order to effectively manage security in a globally distributed IT environment, including third parties and contingent workers. Monitor overall IT departmental compliance with IT security standards and all documented/developed security processes, as well as track, manage and reduce security exposure and incidents.
Coordinate IT SOX Compliance in partnership with the IT audit team as it relates to maintaining, testing and reporting on IT SOX compliance and general IT controls, including managing an annual network vulnerability test and providing executive level summary and recommendations to mitigate network vulnerabilities
Liaise with the Global Security & Safety function on IT components of disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities and programs.
Also participate in planning and budgeting for project related to IT security and compliance.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
· Define security requirements
· Research security solutions
· Manage and participate in the planning and implementation of security administration for all IT projects
· Define and implement IT security management processes and enforce change control
· Develop security policies and procedures such as email, internet access, VPN, Peer:Peer, remote network and application access, antivirus, adding/modifying/removing application and network access and drive and measure compliance with policies
· Document existing processes, procedures and policies, determine gaps which must be filled to create a comprehensive, mature IT security management program, and oversee the development of these processes
· Coordinate IT SOX compliance (i.e. key controls) and general IT control requirements with Internal Audit, including managing the testing activities across Global IT to provide required evidence and report on operating effectiveness for our key and operational controls
· Define logical access control and recommend and enforce controls in our application environment
· Make recommendations and assist in the implementation of changes to work methods and procedures to make them more effective and/or to strengthen IT security measures Implement processes and methods for auditing, including monitoring and reporting
· Perform technology risk assessments, system scans and network audits
· Conduct studies within and outside the organization to ensure compliance with industry standard norms
· Facilitate migration of non-compliance environments to compliant environments
· Assist in the design and implementation of disaster recovery procedures, integration points with business continuity and managing the rollout of IT enabled recovery and continuity procedures
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
· At least 3-5 years of IT security management experience, developing security operations processes, including proven experience in maturing security operations
· CISSP or CISM certification is preferred
· Demonstrated ability to perform vulnerability assessments through custom scripts or with COT solutions.
· Knowledge of Oracle applications and databases are a plus
· SOX experience and knowledge of IT
· Experience with risk management methodologies and the actual implementation of risk management strategies based on a disciplined assessment
· Effective technical skills to understand the ramifications of various system security recommendations and decisions
· Excellent project management, oral/written communication, problem solving and analytical skills
· Strong ability to manage schedules, competing priorities and indirect projects
· Solid skills in estimating effort to complete tasks and projects and demonstrated leadership in planning, organizing, scheduling and managing project activities
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team to a achieve desired objectives and project results
· Requires flexible work hours as necessary
· Extreme discretion in handling confidential information
