Position Summary:
ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world\'s largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $2 billion, is seeking a POS/Sales Analyst for their Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club Sales Team. This role will role will have responsibility for the creation, generation and delivery of key POS Reports to both Wal-Mart/Sam’s and ACCO personnel. Interaction with Wal-Mart and Sam’s Clubs buyers will also be an important aspect of this role. We’re looking for an individual with strong Retail Link and analytic skills who is also comfortable interacting with buyers and sales managers to join this great organization and be a part of our team!
As the POS/Sales Analyst for the Wal-Mart and Sam’s Sales Team you will play a key role in the growth of ACCO Brands diverse product categories at Wal-Mart & Sam’s. The role includes the development and presentation of weekly and monthly reports. In addition to the reporting process we seek an individual who will become an integral part of the sales team, attending meetings with buyers and being the expert on POS activities – “what’s up or down and why? If something is working well, how can we leverage that success?” You will work hand-in-hand with not only Sales & Marketing but also ACCO Supply Chain personnel in the analysis and development of seasonal strategies, planogram load analysis, and replenishment forecasting.

Key Position Responsibilities:
• POS Analysis - develop weekly and monthly reports for Wal-Mart and Sam’s buyers as well as ACCO Senior Management and the Sales Team. Also any ad hoc reports that may be requested by Sales, Marketing or Supply Chain.
• Review of seasonal promotional activities such as Back-To-School sales. This analysis will include identification of successes as well as contributing to our “correction-of-errors” process.
• Contribution to the development of item level forecasts for promotions, planogram loads and replenishment – working with Wal-Mart and ACCO Supply Chain.
• Attendance at meetings with buyers to act as the POS expert on ACCO items and categories.
• Sales & Marketing Support – occasional direct interaction with buyers or Wal-Mart/Sam’s Home Office staff.
Position Qualifications:
• Undergraduate Degree
• Minimum 3+ years Retail Link experience with a vendor or Wal-Mart
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to not only analyze data but make a recommendation of action
• Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with deadlines across multiple categories
• Results oriented
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Team oriented personality that can also work autonomously to achieve desired results
• Computer software proficiency – Retail Link, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Some travel but minimal (Approx 10%)
