Position Summary:
ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world\'s largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $2 billion, is seeking a Graphic Designer to handle multiple graphic design projects from concept through final art and production. This individual needs to be able to utilize Macintosh PC computers utilizing Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash software to create designs and layouts for print, electronic publications such as emails and web landing pages. This role will report to the Graphic Design Manager and works in a team environment with marketing and sales to achieve optimum results of quality and targeted objectives.

Key Position Responsibilities:

Develop original designs using software including, Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash. Will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office suite – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Create & Develop a variety of work including literature, packaging, point of purchase, presentations, ads, web design, flash demos/animations, html email blasts, tradeshow graphics and more.

Manage multiple design projects from concept and development of original designs to final artwork and production of finished pieces with suppliers/vendors.
*
Present concepts for review and approval.
*
Project manage and coordinate with outside vendors as needed for final production of deliverables.
*
Ensure brand standards are followed and met in all creative work produced.
*
Fulfill requests for product images.
*
Organize and manage product image assets and web-based gallery.
*
Work closely with marketing (product, channel, brand), sales and other business functions.
*
Manage project back-up archiving and cataloging.
*
Troubleshoot and solve MAC system problems.
*
Perform other duties as required by Graphic Design Manager.
Position Qualifications:
* BA or BS in Graphic Design required
* 2+ years experience in a business environment is required.
* Basic knowledge of html coding and ability to troubleshoot required.
* Must be Proficient in Macintosh (Quark, InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator), web development using Dreamweaver, Flash.
* Knowledge of PC platform and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to perform well in a fast, deadline-oriented environment by prioritizing and coordinating multiple tasks under time pressure. Good oral and written communication skills.
* Ability manage multiple projects and take a proactive role to keep projects moving to meet critical deadlines.
* Ability to understand products quickly and to grasp the marketing philosophy of the products.
* Understand brand guidelines and ensure consistent branding throughout all mediums.
* Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks under time pressure.
* Possess strong skills in project and time management, attention to detail, interpersonal, communication and customer service.
* Drive for results and work cross functionally internally and with vendors.
* Be a real team player and know how to meet internal customer needs
