3D Character Modeler
Raven Software, developer of numerous award winning games, includingQuake IVand Marvel: Ultimate Alliance,is seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced 3D Character Modeler.
Job duties include:
* Develop 3D a range of photo-realistic and fantastic character models from concept thru production
* Develop textures and skins for models
* Assist with other art tasks as assigned

Qualifications
* 2 years experience in developing character models, textures, and skins for current gen (Xbox 360, PS3) titles
* Ability to digitally sculpt/model & texture both high & low polygon characters
* Ability to construct and elaborate on characters based on key reference or concepts
* Portfolio showing multiple samples of character models/textures
* Samples should include high poly, low poly, wireframes and all texture passes (including normal maps)
* Strong knowledge & understanding of anatomy
* Accurate proportions, form, and details
* Realistic and fictional humans
* Ability to transpose realistic anatomy onto sci-fi/fantastic creatures
* Strong understanding of next-gen art pipeline and tools
* Experienced with managing polygon count and texture budgets
* Experienced with source control
* Highly proficient in 3DSMax or Maya, ZBrush or Mudbox, and Photoshop
* Organic and hard surface sub-d modeling
* Good topology
* Passionate, creative, and organized
The ideal candidate will also have:
* Experience with facial animation, morphs/blendshapes and rigging
* Experience working on next-gen projects in the videogame industry
* Experience working on AAA, shipped titles as a 3D artist
* Concept design/illustration including lighting or color keys
* Experience with Unreal 3 engine
* Experience using 3d scanned assets, resurfacing experience
