work with teach team to develop and implement new/improved learning techniques as appropriate
leverage six sigma, and prioritize perfomrance develpoment needs, analyze, including needs assessment, curriculum rationalization and digitization to create high quality blended learning solutions
ensure training materials are formatted to a consistent deisgn and quality and are regularly updated and revised
ensure material meets or exceeds ge export control requirements
manage npi training material creation and set templates and requirements for npi delivery on training material
create an innoavtive learning environment that will address rapidly changing competencies due to business growth
select and manage external training consultants for course development and delivery
drive the team to benchmark work processes and work with departments to make process improvements
qualifications/requirements
bachelor\'s degree in engineering and/or physical sciences or (high school diploma / ged and at least 5 yeras of expeirence in an engineering field)
minmium of 5 yeras of hands on field experience with generator test and inspect equipment and repair maintenance
minimum of 5 additional years of experience in development and implementation of learning programs, secure funding and coordinate resources (facilities, instructors, lab equipment) as required to execute training
lead the development and improvements of training programs as required based on nps, cost effective solutions that fulfill training needs
develop proposals, key controls product line leadreship and power services global resource coe members to deliver curernt, and drive development of training metrics and frameworks
conduct training review board meetings with business temas on a regular rhythm
build plans that offer high quality, cutting edge technology training to meet business fulfillment needs
ensure that all product specific generator specialist courses align to satisfactorily deliver necessary controls conetnt to support the competency requirements of the sponsored training candidates
train field representatives to be ge generator specialist to be sent out to work onsite customer generator test & inspect, as well as repair/rewind maintenance jobs
develop and deliver course modules work with other generator specialist prorgam instructors to meet the overall generator specialist training mission - to train ge generator specialists
develop and build lab stations to support courses
function as a techincal subject matter expert in areas of expertise
be responsible for stuednt performance evaluation appraisals
idetnify and procure new equipment for use in technical training (appropriation requests)
build relationships and work cloesly with leadership teams of varoius busiensses to identify,
essnetial responsbiilities
work closely with thier dierct manaegment, student and business feebdack
proivde prorgam leadership thruogh acitve conatcts with opertaions, engineering and serivce shpos to stay current on technical, instrutcional design, content development and program reveiws
