An exciting opportunity for a Recreation Assistant is currently available. The Recreation Assistant is responsible for implementing activities and programs; encouraging residents to attend and participate in group activities leading group activities independently; and relating to residents, family members, and volunteers in a professional manner.
This is a Full-Time position. Some nights/weekends/holidays required.

Requirements
Candidates must be able to interact well with others, must have experience in activities or recreation, and must have experience working with geriatric & dementia patients.
HS diploma and 2 years human services related college study required. Experience with adult or geriatric population, running groups, or currently enrolled in Therapeutic Rec., Music Therapy, or Social Work Bachelor’s degree program preferred. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist a plus.
