Operations Analyst

Minimum of 2 years in a tech support role in a large corporate environment
Prior experience with a wireless carrier and its IT infrastructure strongly preferred
2-3 years experience in a fast-paced 24x7 operations environment in a technical support role
Basic knowledge of incident management or ticketing systems (remedy, service-now, etc)
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot & track escalated production issues via internal ticketing system (ServiceNow)
- Conduct low-level system/application administration and assist in automating tasks
- Gather & analyze data regarding system issues and compile post-mortem reports
- Manage outage bridges and drive systems issues to resolution
- Work with project management to ensure new and upcoming features incorporate appropriate operational requirements
- Work with project management/QA team to ensure systematic production issues (bugs) are addressed in a timely fashion
- Own production operational issues by issuing initial response, data gathering, tracking and resolution where possible, as well as following established escalation protocols.
- Perform other activities and duties as requested, including documentation maintenance
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in a complex technical environment. This includes the ability to understand business functions and how they flow through the application architecture.

- Soap Calls
- Familiar with various internet technologies (http, ftp, web servers, email)
- Intermediate knowledge of languages such as HTML, XML, ColdFusion, PHP, JavaScript, SQL
- Basic knowledge of system administration (Windows, Linux, Shell Scripting)
- Basic Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Basic Knowledge in testing software and systems
Associates Degree in Computer Science, technical discipline required (Bachelors is preferred) OR equivalent experience
