Position Description Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) code development for Flight Sciences Technology at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Applications may be for aerodynamics, loads or noise applications. Responsibilities may include: 1) developing discretization approaches for the Navier-Stokes equations, including higher order schemes and turbulence model development; 2) developing reliable approaches for gridding, applicable for flows over complex geometries, including solution adaptive techniques; 3) developing approaches for aerodynamic design using higher order CFD analyses; and 4) developing unique predictive capabilities for aerodynamic flows

Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you meet the criteria described in the Typical Education / Experience section of this requisition?
Typical Education/Experience Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor\'s and 2 or more years\' experience or a Master\'s degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Other Job related information This job requires a PhD in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent.
