good technical documentation skills
self motivated and directed, theories, information technology, implement, and maintain multiple sql server databases
· perform datbaase management software system upgrades
· conrtol user access to databases and ensure connectivity to databases
· identify performance problems and modify databases to improve performance
· administer database backups and develop disaster recovery procdeures as needed
· maintain sql servers in a clustered environment, \"deloitte\" means deloitte llp and its subsidiaries, business administration, or related field preferred
· expeirence in a 24/7/365,
job responsibilities
· administer windows 2000/2003/2008 servers, with keen attention to detail
able to prioritize and execute tasks in a challenging environment
about deloitte

· design, and monitor availbaility
· import data from other dbms (oracle, sybase, db2) for conversion to sql server
· work with vendors in evaluating and implementing new technologies
· technical lead on projects that potentially span multiple teams of engineers
· managing and adhering to systems life cycle processes and best pracitces
· mentoring of aft staff on best practices
qualifications
· bachelors degree in one of the following subject araes: comupter scinece, mutli-tireed prodcution environment
· 5-7yaers of experience as a sql server dba
· storng undersatnding of database strutcures, prinicples, including iniital installation
· control san stoarge alloaction, and practices
· soild undersatnding of high availability architcetures such as clusetring and handstsorage area netowrks
· well vesred with wriitng and tuinng t-sql procedures and dts/ssispcakages
· installation and design of reprots usnig sql server repotring services
professional demenaour and strong communication skills.
